LOCTITE LB 8008 C5-A is a premium anti-seize lubricant paste featuring copper and graphite fillers suspended in a high-quality grease base. It is designed to protect threaded fasteners, studs, flanges and other metal assemblies from seizing, galling, rust and corrosion under high temperature or heavy load conditions. Its service temperature extends up to approximately 980 °C (1800 °F). 
It is ideal for maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) as well as OEM production environments where assemblies may need to be disassembled later under difficult conditions.

  1. Подготовка поверхности: Clean mating surfaces (threads, flanges, studs) of heavy oil, scale or debris. Use a suitable degreaser or wire brush if needed.

  2. Применение: Apply a thin, even coat of LOCTITE LB 8008 C5-A to the threads, flanges or contact surfaces. For bolts, brush a 360° band around the male threads and into the root of the thread.

  3. Сборка: Thread the coated fastener or component into the mating part. For best performance, consider backing off and re-assembling once to ensure even coverage.

  4. Service Conditions: Once assembled, the coated joint is protected against seizing, galling and rust—even under high temperature and heavy loads.
